Inventory: Changes in V3

•  Improved performance of inventory collection and the agent overall

by removing many of the CIM classes defined in CIMConfig.xml,

and accessing them directly during inventory collection.

•  Improved Software Inventory on Windows. The following is now

collected by default (on V3 agents only):

– All instances of Win32_Product (installed via MSI),

includes:

•  JavaPOS, OPOS

•  Sensor Drivers

•  Almost all of the TGCS driver packages (Elo touch driver not collected)

•  DB2

–  ISMP based products, via vpd.properties, includes:

•  RMA

•  SI

•  WAS

–  Remaining content in Add/Remove programs not collected (user story

deferred)
